The charter is the set of guidelines we use to govern the tournament. It was drafted over the course of 2014 and voted into effect for the first time in 2015. It’s a helpful framework that allows all the different regions to have an equal voice, and gives us a process to deal with anything that might come up, from venue selection to tournament comp.
It also includes a bill of rights for players in the community, which is there to help ensure that our competitive spirit doesn’t overcome our desire for a great experience for the field at large.
